LENS TECHNOLOGY
Polyamide (PA)
Polyamide lenses are injection-molded with high precision, giving them superior optical properties and clarity compared with PC lenses and other plastic lenses. Polyamide lenses are highly scratch-resistant.
Triacetate (TAC)
TAC lenses are cut from a plastic film made up of several layers. Sunglasses with polarized TAC lenses are extremely lightweight and therefore very comfortable.
Polycarbonate (PC)
In these lenses, the polarizing material is embedded in a layer of very high quality polycarbonate.
Polycarbonate has very high durability and these lenses are therefore very robust.
Photochromic lenses
Photochromic lenses adapt to light and darken in certain types of light conditions and intensities, especially in sunlight with high ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
