In your email, write a brief description of the fault or defect and state when you became aware of it – ideally with a description of the circumstances. Also include a couple of photographs to indicate the nature of the fault/defect. Once we have started processing your complaint, we may ask you to send the item back to us.
Repaired items or items with damaged lenses will not be accepted, as stated in the Leech policy and regulations. The buyer is responsible for storing the sunglasses in such a way as to prevent damage to the lenses.
Pursuant to the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act, damage that occurs within six months of purchase is considered a manufacturing defect, in the absence of any claim to the contrary by the seller. After six months, the consumer has the burden of proof that any fault or defect is a manufacturing defect. If the customer’s complaint is upheld, the seller must either repair or replace the product, or reimburse the price paid.
In the first instance, defects are rectified through repair. If this is not possible and the complaint has been approved, you will be offered a new item as a replacement. If there are no other viable options, you are entitled to terminate the purchase and have your payment reimbursed. Reimbursement will be completed within 14 days of our having approved your complaint.

You are entitled to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days, without stating any reason for doing so. The deadline for withdrawal expires 14 days after you or any third party – with the exception of the mail carrier stated by you – takes physical possession of the item. We will not reimburse any payment until we have received the item back from you. If you wish to exercise your right to withdraw, you must send us clear and unambiguous notification of your decision to withdraw from the agreement in writing – by email to info@ leecheyewear.com, for example, or by ordinary mail to Leech Eyewear, Företagsgatan 34, 504 64 Borås, Sweden. You can also exercise your right to withdraw by filling in the following form.
If you choose to withdraw from this agreement, we will reimburse you all the monies we have received from you, including delivery costs (although not any extra delivery costs resulting from your choosing a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer). Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and in no more than 14 days. To complete the reimbursement, we will use the same payment methods as you yourself used for the initial transaction. The reimbursement will be completed at no cost to you. We will not reimburse any payment until we have received the item back from you. You must return the item to us without undue delay, and within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. The deadline for withdrawal will be deemed to have been met if you return the item(s) to us before the expiry of this 14-day period. You will be required to cover the direct costs of returning the item(s) to us. You are responsible for any deterioration in the value of the item(s) on account of any handling other than that which is strictly necessary to determine the nature, properties and function of the item(s).
Each and every component of our glasses is specially designed for optimal function and sustainability. This is why we are pleased to provide a 2-year warranty. The warranty applies to material and manufacturing defects in Leech glasses. The warranty does not cover damage caused by abnormal wear and tear or by negligent handling, nor does it apply to scratched lenses.
If your Leech glasses feature a material defect, we will repair or replace them so that you can get back to the water as soon as possible!

The 2-year warranty does not apply to “promotion glasses” that are only sold by a reseller. For these, customers are requested to contact the store/webshop where they purchased the glasses.
